December 30, 2009 - 7:15 am 5 Comments

I just upgraded to windows 7 but I cant find all device drivers compatible with it. Anyone have a link?
I tried the vista drivers/original drivers, but they dont work. I need drivers compatible with windows 7
I downloaded the vista drivers (original on vaio website) and they are in exe format. when i run the file, it says for vista only.

Also the only driver missing is one for a "Mass Storage Controller" What exactly is this?

Control Panel>Device Manager. Update the drivers from there.

Irish people why do you flip flop about Irish Americans when it serves your pride or self-interest?

I mean if I go to Ireland right now I’ll and tell people I’m Irish, I’ll get the typical witty response,"me arse you are, and I’m the Emperor of Offaly". Even though I have citizenship through my grandparents. Yet if someone prosperous or well known such as Barack Obama and JFK with great-great grandparents and the like, say they’re Irish nothing is said about it wtf? Barack Obama is not even 1/32 Irish, and I’m not Irish?

To be fair..I don’t think that’s true. The IRish believe that too be Irish, you must be born and bread here.
So many americans claim to be Irish when they know nothing about the Irish culture, and are only Irish by way of their grandparents or great grandparents.
If you have a good knowledge on the country, the history, and are honest about your ties to Ireland, then there should be no bad feelings towards you.

Where is the most cost effective place to buy computer parts online from Ireland?

December 30, 2009 - 7:14 am 1 Comment

I have recently started my own small computer repair business in Ireland, and I get constantly asked for various computer parts such as printers, memory and universal laptop battery chargers. Would like to buy some of these parts to bring with me on site. I find all these parts to be overpriced in Ireland.

Ya pretty much everything in Ireland is overpriced. I’d say you would be best to buy from ebay…..co.uk not .ie . If find any english site good for prices or anywhere around the eu.

How do you see if its a Genuine Giorgio Armani cologne?

December 27, 2009 - 2:24 pm 3 Comments

It’s Acqua Di Gio. Does the sticker below the bottle like for example in my case it’s UC 353 and below the box it says UA 334. Does this means it’s an imitation?

If you’re buying it, you buy it in a reputable store. If you received it as a gift, you don’t worry about it.

How can I reserve a hotel room at a hotel that is booked?

December 27, 2009 - 2:24 pm 2 Comments

I want to stay at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, TX December 31 - January 3 and am told the hotel is booked. I’ve stayed there last year and know it is a very large hotel and I assume there are some rooms they hold on reserve. For anyone in the know, is there any chance I have at getting one of these rooms?

Sometimes hotels hold rooms in reserve for agents and, I assume, for travel websites, e.g. Travelocity, Expedia, etc. You might try those or a travel agent, e.g. AAA, if you’re a member.

can i drive in republic of ireland if i have learner permit from uk?

The answer is NO. Even an Irish driver with a learners permit has to have an experienced driver, sitting beside him in the passenger seat at all times.

How does Ireland’s climate affect the way people live and work in both rural and urban areas?

December 27, 2009 - 2:24 pm 4 Comments

im talking about in ireland. and if you also know the same for physical features that would be great.

Basically it doesn’t. We generally have a mild, temperate climate - never too cold and never too hot.

What are some hotels around DC that allow 18 year olds?

December 27, 2009 - 2:24 pm 2 Comments

My best friend and I are planning a trip to DC while we’re both home on Christmas break. We are both only 18, but we were considering staying down there for a night so we can get more sightseeing in. Does anyone know of any hotels that are clean, not too expensive, and allow 18 year olds to check in? Thanks in advance!

These Washington D.C Hotels allows 18 year old’s to check-in.

What do you think the Likely outcome of this Test Match is going to be?

December 25, 2009 - 2:22 am 12 Comments

SA vs England, Predictions please?

1) England require another 353 runs with 9 wickets left on Day 5. Can they do it? Or will the SA bowlers be successful in restricting them?

2) Who is your Man of the Match for this Test? My pick would be Graeme Swann. He performed brilliantly with both the bat and the ball for his team.

I think it could be very interesting. I do not think England can chase that score down on this wicket in a day so I will rule out them winning but they do have a lot of good batsman and so I think they will probably survive until the end of the day. I think the decision made by Andrew Strauss at the toss was poor and I think conditions have certainly favoured South Africa over the test match. I anticipate a really close fought series as I think these two sides are pretty equal and England are on a high after winning the Ashes.

Man of the Match definitely should be Swann because of his performances with bat and ball. However if South Africa do win the test he may not get it because they tend to go with someone from the winning team especially if Harris picks up some wickets today.
