Mercedes Vito 108d 1998. Timing chain starting to give rattle 353,174 miles starts first time.?

Uses no oil or water , no smoke. Can you buy chain and sprockets, and how much .

The issue is likely to be a bad chain tensioner, but if you’re going to take the cover off you should do the chain, the guides, and the tensioner. I wouldn’t do anything with sprockets.
