    Military, the Provisional Irish Republican Army faught for 30 years, they successfully removed British troops from Ireland, re-formed the police force, and now have their leaders running the country.

    Ireland, or “Northern Ireland”, has NEVER been part of Britain, not once.

    As for your final comment, there is a referundum due to be taken place on Irish re-unification, the nationalist population now outnumbers that of the unionist in 4 of the 6 countys, looks like you’ve lost.

    22 years ago today 08/05/87 the SAS smashed the IRA into bits with the now famous Loughgall Massacre, i will celebrate this fantastic operation by sinking a few cans in appreciation-well done SAS.
