Eire Og-Tom Williams

Song About Tom Williams a Member of the Irish Republican Army During the Northern Campaigns. He was hanged after he and Six Other men decided to Divert the RUC so that A Parade to commemmorate the Easter Rising(Whitch had been banned in the North) Could take Place. A RUC man Was shot dead during the Skirmishing. Williams Took full Responsibility for Being the Leader of the Unit and was so Hanged.His Body lay in a unmarked grave for many years but as of 2000 He was Reinterred. Enjoy

    I choose to ignore this foul mouthed rant. And Yes, Johnny Donegans version is far better than this. When I can upload it, I will, so I suggest you curb your foul mouth until you have heard it. I know more about the history of Tom Williams than most people. Whilst on a visit with my class to Crumlin Road Prison Belfast, I stood by the execution cell where Pierrpoint hanged him.
