What is average hotel charge in Nainital during December & January?

I have decided to go to Nainital & around area for my Honeymoon. I am planning to go there from 30th December 10 to 7th jan 2011. Can somebody please help me in selection of a good hotel? A good hotel in peaceful area with affordable rate will do for me.. I am looking for a hotel around Rs2500 – Rs 3000 per day… Thanks in advance for your help.

peacefull location/hotels will be far from market and mall road.Particularly in dec. when its off season there you will love to stay on mall road. The price range you have mentioned, i will suggest Hotel Grand at nainital. Very nice cosy place. I stayed there in may7,8 2010. and yes Nice bed too Enjoy!!!!
If possible avoid 30-31 dec to save hotel charges.

    I appreciate that you are going to spend you holidays at peace full area.

    But for rates kindly wait for few months.

    All hotels will release winter packages at the end of Aug.
