We are thinking about going out to Dubuque this July 3rd and wanted to know if there is a hotel close to the fireworks? Reviewing the Dubuque site, I am sure that going down to Lock and Dam 11 would be the closest, but my father-in-law is getting a procedure done a few days before at Mayo and is not going to be able to walk very far. Any ideas where we can get a great view, but stay close to where we would be staying in the hotel? Thanks for your help.
