    Yes, the Irish people have survived, but what about their native tongue? Few Irish people have Irish/Gaelic as their mother language today. It is a real shame – a tragedy.
    If a people looses its native langauge it looses a great part of its soul. The people is starting to think in a different way when stoping speaking their unique vocabulary. It is not possible to be able to express onself in the exact same way in a other langauge as the native one. The straight link to the ancestors is broken.

If you have ever taken a History class you will know that the British Empire treated all its occupied countries like 2nd class citizens and refused to aknowledge their needs, especially the Irish.

    Irish mp’s in Government, Irish Generals and Admirals in the forces, Dublin was the second city, the tune is londonderry air
