Do shepherds in Ireland ever get chased by their flocks of sheep?
Ireland has sheep, sheepdogs and shepherds. I have been to Ireland and I know that they do. I saw plenty of sheep in Ireland. Do stereotypical Irishmen shepherds in Ireland that wear round Donegal tweed caps, wool sweaters that smoke pipes with ear lobes that are elderly that wear boots and work on rainy days in Ireland and drink Guinness Pub Irish Beer do they ever get chased by their flocks of sheep?
I think you may be confusing shepherds with sheep farmers, I would seriously doubt there are any shepherds in Ireland these days.
There are plenty of sheep farmers around but never seen any "smoke pipes with ear lobes". Come to think of it I’ve never seen anybody doing that.
I’ve also never seen any being chased by sheep by either.
I too have seen sheep, sheepdogs and shepherds in Ireland, and I know a few, but none match your "stereotypical" description. I have seen sheep run to the farmer at this time of year when there is extra feed being offered, but I have never seen the farmer being chased.

Shepherds still exist in Donegal and parts of the Sperrins and Antrim Glens. They drink Harp and wear big thick NZ woolens. They also speak in a very strange hill language that only they and the sheep understand.
