Is Ireland a safe and good place to visit?

My step dad and mom are planning to go to Ireland this summer, but I’m sorta scared… I know its beautiful but I’ve only seen pictures… Opinions?

oh yeah, the only worries are the same jerks in every other country that are there to ruin things. But it’s safe, just mind your handbag and don’t pull you cell phone out in certain areas or it might get taken. It’s a great country and they will love it!!

  2. if you come to ireland bring coats, scrafs, gloves, hats etc o and an umbrealla…
    all it does is rain i dont know y anybody would come here lol…

  3. We have been to Ireland for the last 5 years running and are still alive and kicking to tell the tale!

    Yes, Ireland has it’s troublesome spots the same as any other place in the world, but it is a wonderful place (though expensive) to visit, and I am sure you will have a lovely time there!

  4. Well it depends where you go!! I live there and it’s really nice…Dublin the capital can be a bit iffy, but then again like every county it has a rough town!! You never know until you try!!

  5. Well I live in Ireland and I think its quite but it kinda depends what country your from, because there is some stupid people that hate people from other counties example..

    China
    Poland
    Spain
    France
    and other…
    it depends they can hear they way you talk and your actent but other that that its safe
    just to let you know the weather is horrible it rains nearly all the time!

  6. Certain parts of it are no go areas, especially in the north. The falls and the shankill are places that you wouldn’t want to go if you were wearing anything that would make you stand out as either a catholic or a protestant.
    It’s not as bad as it was 10-30 years ago, the north was one of the most violent places on the planet.

  9. It’s like anywhere really, Some cities in Ireland have got a bad rep rightly or wrongly, but there’s dangerous areas in every city worldwide and that’s no reason not to enjoy your trip.
