Or is it something more? Something that can only be described as the spirit of Notre Dame — a distinctive combination of faith, academics, service, athletics, and community.

    I remember driving away from campus when this song came on my iPod shuffle. By the time I made it to the airport my face was blotchy and dried out, my hair damp and my mascara smudged (I thought it was waterproof!)

    Powerful song.
