What influence have Irish immigrants had on American society and culture since they have been coming to Americ?

a.

I just wonder if the Irish people that have immigrated to America down the many years have had much effect culturally or in other ways.

The Irish immigrants played a huge role in the construction of Cities such as buildings, train tunnels, excavation of minerals and the war efforts. One-third of the American troops during the Revolutionary War were Irish. Irish immigrants built many of America’s bridges, canals, and railroads.

To find anything in America that has not been affected by Irish culture is a daunting and difficult task. 1 in every 4 Americans have Irish ancestry.
